Geena Davis

Geena has been a popular American producer, actress and writer who also advocates for women's rights. As well as her various tasks within Hollywood she also garnered high praise in all kinds of television shows. Before stepping into films, she was a fashion model and a member of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. She's been studying the music on the flute and piano from the age of a child due to her passion for music. She played the organ in a church in Wareham. When she graduated in Drama at Boston University, she went to New York City to start her acting career. Through a series of struggles and a lot of work, she was forced to take on odd jobs and doing other things before finally getting her breakthrough. Modeling was her profession throughout her career before making her film debut, 'Tootsie.' This was in 1982. Her appearances in television series, and enjoyed an extremely successful acting career. In fact she received the Oscar Award with her film "The Accidental Traveler. The Golden Globe Award was also given to her for her part in an American TV drama.
